It's been awhile...a random recap

Wow! I feel like we have been going 20 million directions, at 80 billion miles an hour! We have had so much going on that it's been hard to keep track. BUT, things are starting to finally slow down, and it's nice.

I really enjoy being busy, but there is just something about this time of year.Spring. I love Spring, warm sunshine, living with the windows open, eating all of our meals outside, playing until dark in the yard, fresh clean clothes hanging on my line, and of course the excitment of plating our gardens and watching them grow. Did I already say I love Spring? Well I do.

On other notes, Houston turned 1! He had a cricus party, it was so much fun!

Someone left this puppy on our doorstep...

We still have no idea who it was, but we found him a great home with four fun kids to play with! I'm such a sucker for animals, espically strays so it was pretty sad when we had to let him go...but we knew it was best right now because we are trying to move!

Yup, we are READY to move, like yesterday! So we've been looking and looking...with little to no luck. We're going to keep at it though, there's got to be something right?

Oh, and i ran my first 5K, it was alot of fun.Now my hubby and I are going to start P90X, well techincally we started yesterday, and so far I'm sore but a really good sore. I have, suprised myself since I have actually been able to keep up with them. Plus, havin a handsome fella to hold me accountable along the way, and doing it right along side me helps! We can actually get kinda competitive, in a good way. So a little heathly competition is good for us:)

Ummm, I think that's about all that is goin on with us now...nothing really exciting huh?!

Meet Snappy Jack

Do you do the Elf On the Shelf? We do, well this is the first year Colt will actually really understand whats going on! His name is Snappy Jack! I am so excited, he arrived at our house last night...and we read the book before we went to bed! I could hardly wait to see Colts expression in the morning when he woke up to find a North Pole breakfast waiting for him. I saw this idea on Little Pumpkin Grace last year and fell in love with the idea.

When her kids went to sleep she painted there noses red! When they woke up they saw this, Colt would LOVE that!  Here is a sneak peak at our breakfast...what made it prefect was it was snowing! I mean come on hoe awesome was that, snow in Georgia in November...I think yes!

A MONSTER of a party

My little Colt will be turning 3! I can't believe how fast each year goes by...it breaks my heart, but also is so exciting to watch him grow! I adore being his mama. For his birthday party this year I asked him what kind of party he wanted to have, he replied...a MONSTER PARTY(in a very loud monstery voice)! So a monster party it is. Of course being that he is only three, we are having a silly monster party.

My friend Shannon, is helping me with all of the decorations tomrrow! I can hardly wait for some girl time, and some mad monster making skills! Once we have some of the decorations made I will do a follow up post. Pinterest has been (as always) so helpful with coming up with super cute ideas!

So...I decided to start a blog, for the second time. The first time I constantly felt like I needed something profound to say, and never had anything. I would get so caught up reading other blogs, that I wouldn't have any time left to post on my own! This time around I hope to be different. I am not posting for everyone else with something profound to say. I am posting for me, and for my family. Making memories for us to look back on someday. With two little boys under 3 it's going by fast...almost too fast sometimes! I just want to hang on and enjoy the ride while I can, before it's over...won't you join me!?
